Seniors’ Community Services is a registered charitable organization dedicated to supporting seniors, and adults with physical disabilities live well, and independently in their own homes. We strive to develop responsive, action-based programming and services that optimize access to transportation, nutritious meals, and home support. As a rural support service, we depend on volunteers who are the driving force behind our services, and the collaboration with community partners and stakeholders who understand the important contributions of older adults in the community. The centre creates a welcoming hub for social and recreational activities, and the opportunity to assist in decreasing social isolation and loneliness. Our virtual programs provide a gathering place that is respectful of individual circumstances and ensures that no one is left behind. SCS is dedicated to ensuring an atmosphere of warmth, with a practical approach to supporting the unique needs to age in place with dignity, independence and vitality.
