Val and Byron Morris have been generously donating their time, the ingredients (and their secret Quebecois beef & pork Tourtière recipe) for many years.
In Byron’s memory, the secret Morris recipe lives on with a fundraiser that leaves a lasting impact at SCS.
We are so grateful to Val for working so hard in the kitchen preparing these delicious pies in support of SCS programs and services.
There are limited quantities, and last year they sold out in 24-hours. Made fresh to frozen, they are a delicious holiday tradition.
We are selling a limited number. They are made fresh to frozen right here in our very own kitchen.

$25.00
Last year they sold out quickly, so I encourage you to contact us if you would like to purchase one.

Valvular heart diseases are dysfunctions of the doors that direct blood flow within the heart. These diseases affect hundreds of thousands of people in Canada.
Heart valve problems are often undetected, and late detection may have severe consequences. The University of Ottawa Heart Institute's mobile screening program offers early detection, diagnosis and treatment.
A free screening for people 65+ with no known heart issues is available and the Seniors' Community Services is the host location for this clinic.
Your 30- to 60-minute appointment involves:
A cardiologist will review the results and recommendations will be provided at the end of your visit.
Registration is required by calling the Heart Institute directly at 613-696-7000 x19172 or
by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Clients will be asked to complete screening questions and be over the age of 65.
You do not have to be a client of SCS to access this clinic.

Seniors Community Services acknowledges that we operate on the traditional territory of the Anishnabek. We honour the historic relationship of the Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat peoples to this land. We also recognize all First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples who now call North Grenville home, and we commit to actions that advance truth and reconciliation.
