Seniors’ Community Services welcomes you back to our Centre!
Pre-registration for each program is required, proof of full vaccination or medical exemption (if not already on file) SCS will keep a record in our confidential database.
Anyone entering the Centre will be greeted by a staff member or volunteer who will ensure that COVID 19 screening and contact information is collected. This information will be kept for 30 days in the event it is required by Public Health for contact tracing.

Medically-exempt individuals must present a doctor’s note before access to the building is granted. Once the medical exemption is confirmed, the individual must provide weekly proof of a negative COVID-19 test and present documentation to Executive Director, Dawn Rodger.
A written vaccine exemption document from a licensed physician or nurse practitioner must include:
- The name and contact information of the physician or nurse practitioner
- A logo or letterhead identifying the physician or nurse practitioner
- A statement that there is a medical reason for the individual’s exemption for being immunized against COVID-19
- An effective time period for the medical reason within the date the individual is seeking access to the business or organization
No, all in-person programming requires pre-registration 48 hours in advance, to maintain reasonable levels of workflow for our staff. Pre-registration is by telephone to avoid any duplication or errors. Please call 613-258-3203 to register. *Pre-registration will not be required if you are already registered in a program or class.
Yes, you must wear a mask at all times, unless you are actively eating or drinking. For those who cannot wear a mask for medical reasons, a face shield is required.
Yes, we are pleased to have in-person cards/social programming resume Monday, Nov. 8th. Effective Wednesday, Nov. 24th Diner’s Club will no longer require attendance in cohorts. Exercise classes will remain virtualy until further notice.
